Who: Ramona Hardy & OPEN
What: Having lived a greater part of her life 'across the pond,' Ramona pays a visit to Ananke Gallery.
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Ananke Gallery
Ramona had managed one art history class in her time at Salem State, but as so many of her interests lie with people hundreds of years dead, so had her interest in art. All the same, there was much that was beautiful in Ananke Gallery, if not necessarily what she would call beautiful when paired with things of the sublime and picturesque variety.
The art here was Wizarding, of course, so nothing she would have seen before even with her father, who had some limited connections with the Wizarding community in Salem. Pausing in front of a statue of a bird whose wings were sculpted as though the creature were in flight, Ramona watched with surprise and delight as they folded and unfolded before her eyes, each feather shifting and settling.
"Lovely," she murmured, and though her eyes remained fixed on the bird to see what it would do next, she stepped politely aside to let other gallery patrons have a look.
