Characters: Quincy Cadwallader and Louis Weasley
When: Saturday, July 25th / 11:30ish
Where: Hogsmeade - Various Locals
Rating: PG
Summary: Quinn and Louis meet up and go to Hogsmeade!
Asking Louis to join him in Hogsmeade had been a bit of a shot in the dark and Quincy hadn't actually anticipated Louis agreeing. He was absolutely ecstatic and bounced around his room flamboyantly for a while - Keagan wasn't around, thankfully - but once he settled himself, he found a nervous jitter in his bones. There was always the aching feeling that Louis was just a good bloke and a good mate. He decided, after putting on and taking off his tie two or three times, that he didn't care either way. An afternoon just hanging out was better than nothing, by any standard.
Without thinking about too much more, Quincy grabbed his small satchel of coins, stuffed them in his pocket and was on his way. Upon exiting the castle and making his way - somewhat hurried and with an air of frenzy not uncommon to Quincy - he realized rather suddenly that he and Louis had planned to meet "there", but he wasn't particularly sure where "there" was. He hoped that the implication was the entrance to Hogsmeade, which was where he was planning to meet up with Louis. A sudden and horrible thought struck him - what if he had left Louis waiting, what with all the time he spent fixing his tie only to decide to ditch his uniform all together and wear regular clothes. He picked up his pace, and when the entrace was finally in view, he found himself a bit out of breath and very parched.
But as he came closer and his eyes adjusted, he realized his worst fear were true: Louis had beat him there. Well, he supposed he could make up for it, and hearing the jingle of change in his pocket, he figured he could fit the bill for the afternoon. Coming up on Louis there was a moment where Quincy wasn't exactly sure how to greet him, and at the last minute he decided to give the older boy a hug. Albeit breif, the hug left a brilliant smile on Quincy's face, even as he asked somewhat embarrassed, "I didn't keep you waiting?" After getting his wits back together, Quincy looked around as if the world was before him. "I'm a bit thirsty, would you like to hit the The Three Broomsticks or the Hogshead?"
