Who: Isabella Barbary, Albus Potter
When/where: Early Evening/ Hogwarts front steps (to start off)
Summary: Bella waits on Hogwarts front steps for Al to get back from Hogsmeade so that they can talk.
Bella kept her head down as she sat on the steps, allowing her hair (which was straight for once) to cascade forward and hide her face, because she really did not want to talk to anyone. Slowly, the students were starting to trickle back from Hogsmeade. Most of them full of smiles and contentment. She wanted to be one of them, but it was not fated to be that way. Even though she she would rather run and hide, she needed to wait for Al. They had not decided on a meeting spot, so instead, she waited there for him. Although, she wasn't really watching for him. She hoped he'd see her.
After a long moment, she pulled her hands away from her face. Maybe things were not as bad as they seemed? It was a wishful longing of hers. Out of all the things her father could have wanted, all the things she had hypothesized, she had not even been close. Then again, logically it made sense and she should have thought about it before hand. Her father's connections after all were no secret to her. Naturally, she had not helped the situation by being less than honest with the man leading up to the present. It had been fear of her father not understanding that had lead her to lie.
With a single finger she wiped one last tear away hoping her face was not too red and puffy. She preferred to cry her tears in secret, although, she knew more would come once she tried to explain the situation. Bella figured she could deal with that when the situation came. After all, there had to be a solution to the situation, but she could not see it. It felt like she was standing at a cross roads and had to make a decision in which road she wanted to take. A decision that needed to be made while people are screaming a million different things in her ear.
"What am I going to do...?" She muttered softly to herself as she dropped her head into one of her hands. It was something she needed to figure out quickly. She also needed to decide just how much she was going to tell Albus. She sighed heavily. It was something she could figure out once he got there...
