Corrie was too busy dancing to see the men or wonder what they were about, or she would have been more concerned. Instead, she SPUN around, arms in the slide-to-the-left position, then shook her skirts at Ken like a can-can dancer, minus the garter (she hadn't been willing to wear that part of the maid costume).
But she couldn't forget her part in the adventure quite as easily, because she wasn't there just to perform, and still had customers to serve. She flipped her newest waffle out of the iron and onto a plate and handed it out, and quickly poured in some more batter. Too bad she couldn't hurry up the iron, but charms hadn't been her strongest subject and she might make the thing fly away or something.
Grinning up at Ken, she caught his expression. What's up? she mouthed at him.
