"Um actually I think for right now, these are pretty okay." Oh the sales lady had suggestions of her own? "No no no no no." Albus said. "We're fine. Completely fine." A little desk to go with it? "No it's a laptop. We have laps for that very reason. We have the electronics, the holders, we're good." Just because he had money, did mean Albus was going to let Scorpius get taken advantage of.
Albus leaned back against the casing while Scorpius made his purchase. He reached over to the box that the phone came in, since the ones they were toying with was just a display. "It would be funny to see how your mum reacts. When I get a new one, I should leave mine right next to her and call it repeatedly. No doubt that she'll hate my guts but it would be hilarious." Albus sat the box down. "I would do it to my own but mum knows all about this stuff and she slaps when you annoy her." A small flinch came to the memories.
Ginny was a special breed. Or maybe it was ALL mothers but Albus only recognized it with his own. You PRAYED you never did anything to get a look from your mother, let alone a slap for bad behavior. Now Ginny wasn't abusive, in fact, she had patience of a saint but sometimes they did bring it on themselves and the thing was, it never hurt. She had no intention of hurting her children, therefore being the reason it never hurt but then again, it was enough to make you drop to the floor and sob for hours on end because you made her that mad, funny how things ended up huh?
Albus grabbed one of the bags and the two were out the door. Of course as soon as they were out, Albus stopped to light a cigarette that he pulled from the pack located in his pocket. "Let's see." He muttered, pulling out the phone box inside, pausing to see a small piece of paper taped on it. He pulled it from the box, eyed it before handing it over to Scorpius.
"You may want to keep hold of that." What was it? A phone number. He opened the box to find everything he needed inside. Besides the phone, there were registration papers for it and how to activate it. It was a pretty simple process to activate it and Albus filled Scorpius in on how to do just that when he had time.
"Detour." Albus said, pointing over to the side where a pub and grill was. "Very important one." He led Scorpius inside. It was after lunch time. Albus hadn't ate, he was sure Scorpius hadn't either and well they both needed a pint to celebrate Scor's purchase he made.
They entered the cool atmosphere of the familiar pub, Albus had been there before. Not frequent as he did the White Horse but this place was nice. "Spicy wings are pretty good." Albus commented as they took a seat at a table. He grabbed a menu and began looking it over.
"So how's your art coming along? Create any masterpieces?" He paused as a song began to play. It was enough to make Albus nearly jump from his seat to fight his pockets to get his phone. Shaylyn. He was quick to put it on silence, smiling awkwardly at the patrons who stopped to look at him.
"Also," Albus said, slowly turning back to Scorpius. "It's very important to never let a girl pick your ring tone. Shaylyn things I am with girls all the time and no matter how many times I change the ring tone, she changes it back when I'm asleep. You should see the looks I get when I'm actually talking to a bird. It's horrible. She calls at the worst times, like now." He slid the phone back in his pocket, doing his best to look manly doing so.
