Thread: Taylor and Vi
WHO: Taylor and Viola WHEN: November 3rd WHERE: School grounds WHAT: game of manhunt! RATING: Low in the beginning, High later. NOTE: (we started this as a doc when ij was being an asshat, but moves it once ij started working again)
Vi could not express how excited she was about this giant game of tag. Well, it was much more than that really, but she didn’t quite understand the complexity 100%. So in her eyes, it was tag. The new and exciting idea, that had everyone in school picking teams and getting amped up about playing, made her forget everything that had been bothering her for the past two days. It wasn’t like Viola to be upset or moody, but she definitely had been. Halloween had been absolutely perfectly wonderful, and then she’d woken up to realize how wrong she was for letting it happen. Instead of talking to Taylor like a normal person might’ve, she’d run off before he woke; only succeeding in making her more upset with herself. Things had gotten worse when their plan to talk had ended with him not showing, and Vi had been in a bad mood ever since. This was exactly what she needed to take her mind off of everything for awhile, and she was so eager that her excitement had her going all out.
After picking a team, which was difficult but ultimately running about in her underwear swayed her decision, Vi was eager to get her outfit picked out. She had to wear her best lingerie for this. It took her awhile to pull the entire look together, but she was ready by the time the game was supposed to start. Seeing everyone gathered in their “uniforms” was too amusing, and she could already tell that things were going to decline quickly as far as behaving was concerned. Call it her chemistry hunch, or matchmaking intuition, but the sexual tension was too high for anything else. The game began, and she instantly took off, dodging and chasing as the rules laid out, hoping to capture a lot of people that would help her team; while staying free herself, of course. She was creeping behind some trees, having just evaded Dallas Hardy, and was making sure the coast was clear for her to continue when she heard a twig snap behind her.
Taylor was not always up for big games like this but he definitely needed the distraction from everything, like Vi did. Halloween had been amazing, more amazing then words could describe. Taylor had thought he felt so many different feelings from Vi; feelings that he thought only he felt. But he did not know if that was the real thing or the mints they had eaten driving their feelings along with their actions. When he woke up the next morning and Vi was not there Taylor realized what had happened and how much of a mistake it had been, not a mistake because he and Vi had sex for the first time but a mistake because they had done it under those circumstances. Taylor wanted to share everything with Vi but that was not how things were supposed to go.
It did not get any better when they tried to talk and he missed the meeting. He felt horrible for missing it, and though he had lost his only chance to possibly fix things with Vi. Especially considering how mad she got about him missing their meeting. Taylor was at a loss for what to do because Vi would not talk to him. So this game, as crazy as it seemed sounded like a perfect distraction. While everybody was forming teams Taylor looked in to it all, and the idea of running around in his underwear was not appealing, though the orange swim trunks he wore instead did not do much to cover more then a pair of boxers would. As everybody gathered for the game Tay stayed toward the back of his team which was why he did not see Vi gathered with the underwear side. The start was quick, and within a few moments everybody had scattered around the school; running off in so many different directions that it was hard to keep track. The team he was on was the hunters first, so first he had to find an underwear clad person and take them back to jail. Turning around a tree Taylor had to hold his breath before he gasped out in surprise at the girl in front of him in her skimpy yet pretty chosen outfit. Ever so slowly he crept forward, his steps silent for the most part until he stepped on a twig. He knew that would give him away so he had to act fast or his prey would get away. Jumping forward Taylor made a grab for the girl; no clue just whom he was grabbing. “Gotcha!”
The game had just begun and Vi was already having fun. A couple guys on her own team were very vocal in their appreciation of her underwear, and that of course had her beaming with pride. Not to mention a few of the Rubber Duckies seemed a little dumbfounded when they were met with certain girls on Victorious Secret. Vi was definitely glad she'd decided to go with her instincts and join Chester's team. Even if those guys didn't hold a candle to Tay, it was still nice to have compliments. This night was supposed to be about distracting herself anyway, so she was trying her best to go along with it all. That was a bit easy once everyone scattered and the game began, and Vi was instantly occupied with evading capture since the other team were the hunters first.
She had just barely managed to dance away from a guy trying to catch her, and Vi gave the credit for that escape entirely over to her choice of underwear. He had certainly looked in open-mouthed appreciation for a few minutes too long. Triumphant, she had determined the coast was clear when she heard the twig snap behind her. Instantly, her body tensed, and Vi was ready to bolt. She wasn't fast enough, however, and she felt strong arms wrapping around her from behind, causing her to yelp in protest as it was announced she was caught. She was so mad about being captured that she didn't recognize the voice right away; though those arms felt oddly familiar.
"Soooo not fair! And watch your hands if you want to keep them in tact!" Vi wiggled in her captor's grasp for a second before turning her head to look behind her. Gasping softly, she relaxed, heart pounding as she saw who had caught her. "Tay?!"
Tay was having fun so far, though he had not caught anybody yet. He did spot a couple of his teammates but they were not doing any better hunting people down because they were too busy staring at the girls as the raced past them or just evaded being grabbed and caught. He had to shake his head at it all. The other team had definitely picked the right type of uniform because there was no way a guy could NOT stop and stare when a girl in a skimpy pair of underwear and bra was in front of them. True the underwear did not show any more then what say a bikini would show, but there was just something about the lace and the forbidden image of it all that threw people off.
When he turned around though and had spotted somebody whom had their back to him he knew he was in for an easy grab. While all the guys were staring at the girls Tay found himself not affected by it all. Yes he would admit they all looked good, but none were his ex. Now if he saw HER in her underwear Tay did not know what he would do. Perhaps it was this thought that distracted him as he crept forward and did not see the twig his food stepped on until it snapped. Tay knew he only had a few seconds before his prey bolted, and the way they were getting away so fast he was not going to give her the chance. Lunging forward he wrapped his arms around her as he spoke, but that is were the simple game ended. Because as soon as he heard that voice he froze, his heart pounding in his chest as her warning reached him just as she turned around and spotted him. Tay did not let Vi go right away, though a few seconds later he seemed to realize what he was doing and pulled away from her almost instantly. “I...uh......caught you.” He kept his eyes locked on hers; not trusting himself if he looked at what she was wearing now that he knew it was her in that beautiful and enticing outfit.
It was definitely hard to focus with everyone running around in various forms of undress. While it was true underwear weren’t much worse than a bikini, Vi understood the difference. The lace and the silk made it very obvious the articles were not normally meant to be seen by just anyone. It was seductive mystery, and now it was on display for anyone to see as the girls ran around without a hint of embarrassment. Vi didn’t have a shy bone in her body, and it was nice to see what the other girls put together. Not to mention all the guys in bathing suits or boxers or whatever made the view much better too. She wasn’t as distracted as she otherwise might’ve been, however. None of those guys were Taylor, though she’d never admit that’s why she could keep her focus.
Until now. She didn’t hear someone behind her until it was too late. Vi heard the twig, and thought about whirling to face her opponent, but decided just taking off would be easier. She had taken too long to make that decision, though, and arms were around her waist before she could run. Squirming a little, she warned her captor that he’d better keep his hands in appropriate places mainly to tease, and Vi even laughed a little before turning to look back. The laughter faded as she saw Tay’s face, and her heart was instantly in her throat as her whole body responded. When he let her go, she turned to face him; acutely aware of what she was wearing. She wasn’t ashamed, but her body suddenly felt hotter as she stood on essential display in front of him, and he pointedly did not look. Hurt, she cleared her throat a little, placing a hand on her slender hip and eying him. “So you did. I guess it’s jail for me, with you to guard me, huh?”
In that instant the game went from a fun distraction from their trials and tribulations to the next full blown encounter with each other. After everything that had happened Tay was not sure what their next encounter would be. And he certainly did not think it would be with Vi in her underwear and himself shirtless in bright orange swim trunks. Those few seconds he was wrapped around Vi and her teasing words about his hands was nice for a split second before he realized that being wrapped around her was wrong and he had pulled away. His mind was screaming to go back to his spot and wrap around her; because that was how they were supposed to be. No more anger, no more missed meetings, no more broken hearts. Just Tay and Vi happy.
And speaking of hearts his was hammering so heavily against his chest as he struggled to still keep his eyes on Vi’s face, his gaze studying her beautiful face instead. In truth he wanted to look, oh boy did he want to look and take in every inch of Vi’s beautiful form in that well chosen outfit. The image of her from behind when he thought she was somebody else slipped into his mind and spread heat over him; no doubt tinting his face red a bit while he tried to focus his brain enough to keep on the game. They were playing a game, that was it. And yeah he needed to take her back to the jail. “Yeah.....gotta make sure nobody sets you free.”
“How ironic,” she muttered as he spoke, the words eerily coincidental. Vi couldn’t help but think of the way that statement could parallel their own relationship. They were both essentially prisoner to the other, and it seemed the love that was being forced to stay buried between them was keeping them each trapped; especially in her case. Taylor was a constant presence in her thoughts, and those thoughts were a bit like jail holding her captive. She couldn’t be set free by anyone else but him, and Vi’s stomach clenched at the thought. Would he ever forgive her? Or would they be destined to fight this way and never be happy again? Pushing all that aside, she focused instead on the fact that this was a game. Just because Tay had caught her didn’t change that.
Swallowing a little, her eyes trailed over him of their own accord, and she couldn’t help the heat in her eyes as she took in his body. He had always had such a wonderful form, and Vi was not as strong as he was. She couldn’t resist looking at all that gorgeous tan skin, her eyes lingering on the perfectly defined abs. Considering she was wearing next to nothing, the fact that she was suddenly unbearable hot was a mystery to her as she tried to swallow and keep talking. Her pride didn’t let her focus on the fact that Tay wasn’t looking her up and down, so she focused on the game instead. “Are you prepared to keep me this entire game?” she asked, unaware of all the double meanings that question held. (bolded Tay's last tag) Tay didn’t miss the meanings behind what Vi had said because it was ironic. There was so much going on between them and yet they could not change anything. At least Tay could not. He loved Vi, nothing was taking that away. And while he had been able to push those feelings down so far while they had been apart but the instant he and Vi were together again everything bubbled back to the surface; everything that he thought he had come to terms with was all now moving around his brain and making damn sure that Vi dominated his thoughts every day.
What had happened on Halloween had not helped matters because he knew how he felt, but to feel those things from Vi threw him off. Sadly Taylor did not know if it was the mints they had or real feelings. And without being able to talk to Vi about it he was not sure he was ever going to find out. Seeing as she was the one who broke up with him Taylor sadly assumed that he was the only one feeling love here. Because of that love and those heated feelings that were now creeping up Taylor was trying to do his best not to drool over Vi, and not to stare at the skimpy outfit she was wearing. But oh how badly he wanted to look, how badly he wanted to take in the beautiful image of his love. The fact that her eyes slid over him did not pass his notice because he was watching her face; that one trail of eyes sent a shiver over Taylor as he pushed what he was feeling down and swallowed before he spoke. “I’m prepared to do whatever I have to....” Taylor’s statement had just as much double meanings as Vi’s did when she spoke.
