[FILTER: NO BUILDING MANAGEMENT]
hey everyone. with the possibility of a carbon monoxide leak, i wanted to ask around to see if how many people have experienced symptoms. i've started putting together a list of the locations where people have mentioned or i have experienced something that could be a symptom of CO poisoning.

the list is down below, but first, here are some symptoms of CO poisoning.

symptoms:

• headaches, dizziness
  
• nausea, vomiting
  
• weakness, impaired coordination
  
• changes in mood: anxiety, irritability, a sense of dread, depression
  
• visual disturbances: blurred vision, impaired vision
  
• hallucinations
  
• disorientation, confusion
  
• sleepiness
  
• shortness of breath, difficulty breathing
  
• chest pain
  
• rapid or abnormal heartbeats
  
• memory loss
  
• nightmares or strange dreams
  
• sleep disturbances

if you've experienced any of the above, please speak up. if you don't want to say it publicly, you can dm me or drop an anonymous note in my mailbox (404). [...] you certainly don't have to say anything at all, but i think if we pool all of our experiences together, we might have a pretty concerning list of possible CO poisoning. even if you're not sure what you experienced might fall under this category, please mention something if you feel comfortable doing so. carbon monoxide poisoning can have some serious long term effects, and i think it's better to be safe and definitively rule it out.

once i've put a complete list together, i'll bring it to building management so they can take care when testing areas where people experience more symptoms than in other parts of the building.

i found this during the town hall. i haven't seen the man in the photo around and don't know who he is. does he live in the building? or is he an acquaintance of someone who does? i'd like to return this to the owner.

when you brought up how you saw willie in the lobby a few weeks ago, most of us tried to find different reasons for it. and i think most of us were doing it so you didn't worry about him too much. but you were probably right to be concerned and i'm sorry we did that.
