Around 3:43 AM, characters with powers will experience a strange dream.

Powered characters will awake to their powers being unusually active. Roll d20 to determine what happens to your character when they awake. Subtract 10 if your character experienced something in their past that would make them more afraid of the dark than others—you can be as liberal or strict interpreting this as you please!

• < 0 - 15: Your character awakens on the floor, tangled up in their sheets. They must have fallen out of bed in their sleep. If they have a clock in their room, it's frozen at 3:43 AM. Characters with telepathy, illusions, or precognition will see that they are missing their reflection for a split-second when they look in the mirror. Characters with any type of kinesis will awaken to it having caused physical effects in their room overnight.

• 16 - 19: Your character awakens tangled up in their sheets. They must have been disturbed by that dream. Characters with telepathy, illusions, or precognition will hear a voice whispering in their ear that shocks them. Characters with any type of kinesis will awaken with mild headaches.

• 20: Your character wakes up just fine with no problems. Huh. What a weird dream. Whatever.
