The hunting trip had been disastrous, not that Hester had seen it first-hand, and the tittering about it had driven her to distraction. Apparently, if one could trust the maids, Lyanora Stark had tried to have Elia killed for political gain. Hester put no stock in it; the Starks had all the power as it was and she hardly thought the wild woman would want anything to do with politics. She didn't seem the type.
Hester still found herself aimless in response and worried. Had the shot struck Elia it would have been worse than the poison. Arrows weren't the most pleasant of injuries and she'd seen more than one hunting trip end in tragedy because the bolt simply couldn't be removed without the man bleeding out afterward. Maesters were well and good, but even a Maester couldn't cure death.
Her steps led her to the the Dornish chambers and she imagined it had a bit to do with Elia and a lot less to do with her mysterious brother. It'd be an interesting match if the damned Martell would notice her, but it seemed he was more focused on protecting his sister and drinking wine with his men and it left Hester more than a little dubious about her charms. She could have the Lannister, she supposed, but the feelings she had festering in her heart where Tymor was concerned caused her to stay her hand. Feelings weren't smart in games like this.
She touched a tapestry and toyed with asking the guards for entrance. Perhaps she could lay things out for the prince and see if he liked what she had to offer. It couldn't hurt, at any rate--the Dornish were well known for being more forward than the rest of Westeros.
