Who: Kaelyn, William
When: Day 48, Evening
Where: Red Keep - The Kings Bedroom
Status: Open to those who have access to William's chambers
Kaelyn felt vaguely nauseus and it was beyond her to say whether it was mothers stomach or the events of court, she had not been so inflicted in her previous pregnancies but she had not felt so nervous of them, not even her first then she had been too filled with pride at having accomplished something she should to be nervous. And she should feel the same now - a second son for House Stark she told herself running one hand over the flatness of her stomach. Mayhaps even twins again she hoped banishing the memory of how much more difficult that pregnancy had been. These were better things to think on that the state of court. Though deep down the fact that someone had entered William's chambers undetected horrified her perhaps more than the murder.
Her thoughts on it all were confused, Elia Martell - Kaelyn had met the girl twice and for all these two brief meetings had given her the impression the girl - for she was a girl no matter her age - she might well have someone killed on a whim or in a temper but Kaelyn would never have considered that she would have killed the Targaryen Princess. If anything Elia was the most stauch open supporter of the dead dynasty. Was it all a front? Kaelyn could not convince herself of it no matter how she tried. They were kin, were southeners so different. Kaelyn could hate cousins all she liked but to arrange their death? Not even for political advantage. It made her nervois though she would do the best she could to hide it, if people would do that to their kin what would they do their enemies. Perhaps she just didn't want to believe it. Kinslaying was an affront to old gods and new.
She turned at a sound, stirring from her seat, she still was unused to sharing William's chambers near permanently - she would have been here when they were invaded if Brandon had not been having a restless night. Now he had two Morment boys as playmates and to share his chambers. It was little comfort when she let herself worry.
