Hester silently noted the Stark princess's insecurity about her mother. Hester had always found Kaelyn a bit standoffish, even for an Arryn, and the father was a Northman. It was no wonder the girls felt stifled, as Genna seemed to. It was the sort of fact that needed to be tucked away and looked at later, where it could be used to piece together a puzzle that wasn't quite revealed.
However glad she was for the information, she was gladder still to turn the talk to dresses. She'd had no deficit of finery in The Eyrie, but here in King's Landing she had the opportunity to flaunt her beauty in the new styles of Braavos and Myr.
"Do you think perhaps some of these dresses have Myrish lace? I have far too few dresses with lace in them these days, and they certainly make a bodice look lovelier."
