Peter was out of work and patrolling the streets as Spider-Man. It was his usual deal and tonight didn't seem any different. He was hanging around on a roof when he spotted a familiar face. Harry. Peter's best friend who unfortunately had a face people knew and was the son of a man that Peter put behind bars. It wasn't uncommon for Harry to have some sort of reporter or paparazzi following him around. Peter also knew that Harry disliked it a lot of the time. Having gone through rehab and everything, Peter just wanted his friend to be happy since so much of his earlier life seemed plagued with disappointment and drug use.
He moved closer and could pick up bits of the conversation. Peter's jaw clenched, the need to protect to his friend ignited. He could punch this guy, tell him to get lost, but that wasn't a Spider-Man thing to do. So instead he flicked his wrist and out of the gadget there came some webbing that latched onto the guy's mouth.
"So, I know I've dealt with my fair share of villains. There was the guy who dresses up like a giant rhino, I know, right? And then there was that guy who flies around and calls himself a vulture, but man, I don't know if they measure up to guys like you," he announced his presence but dropping down nearby. The reporters eyes widened and he immediately went for his camera. Another flick of Peter's wrist blocked the lens from taking photos.
Spider-Man watched, "You know what you're doing is harassment, right? Against the law. i'm sure if Mr. Osborn here wanted, he could get his lawyers to tie you up in so much litigation your boss might think it'd be easier to let you go." The reporter tried to speak, but with the webbing over his mouth, he couldn't say much of anything.
"Just go and find someone else who actually wants your attention," Spider-Man waved the reporter off.
