George had been kidnapped, fought with some people, sold to someone else, saw his little sister, and was now being dropped off Merlin knows where but for the last time. Hopefully. He'd had an adventure, that was for sure, but he was ready to go home and sleep in his own bed and let everyone know he was okay.
Rookwood had stunned him, though, so he was left unconscious on the ground in some empty place while Augustus left him there for Fred. Unfortunately he was completely out of it, lying there as if he were just sleeping with a headache awaiting him.
