Who: Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley
What: Hermione's being her normal, pushy self and insists that Ron go to the Hospital.
When: In the evening, sometime.
Where: Tue Dungeons.
Hermione walked through the corridor with the sole purpose of hibernating beneath her blanket as soon as possible. Nervous butterflies fluttered within her stomach, making her feel nauseous from the worry gnawing at her insides. Her fingernails showed signs of just how anxious she was; the nails were bitten as far down as possible and stung from being much too short. Yet, given the fact that someone could have very well caught her in the Library (a place restricted to Servants), she had a reason to be nervous. Who knew what sort of consequences she would face.
Though she honestly didn't want to think of that, either. That would simply make her even more nervous and upset.
Therefore, to clear her thoughts, Hermione shook her head as she rounded the final corner and descended the staircase that would take her to the Servants' Quarters. Just being within a few dozen steps up her only place of sanctuary made her feel marginally better. It was absurd to think that she was safe within the dungeon, but students and teachers rarely visited. Many, herself included, had a false sense of security about their hovels.
However, as she walked inside, she stopped short and frowned. There was Ron, Ginny's brother, standing not too far away from her. It was, admittedly, the first time she had seen him up close. To be honest, she hadn't really paid much attention since he joined them. But as she looked at him, she could see the remnants of the time he had spent being beaten, bruised, and bloodied up. It made the butterflies cease their fluttering and replace themselves with something that truly made her nauseous.
"You really should get yourself checked out," she found herself saying long before she even considered talking to him. The words just came out, of their own accord, all of a sudden.
