Remus took the wine, not saying anything. He recognized the tension in Sirius's teasing. Remus could only assume that the heated words they had exchanged the night that Remus had upset Vera were still bothering Sirius. He had nothing to say that would settle Sirius, though, so he thought it best if he let the matter drop. Silently, he uncorked the wine and poured three glasses, handing one to Vera, one to Sirius, and keeping one for himself.
