Ginny knew that there were plenty worse things than having to clean windows. Chimneys for instance held quite a bit of danger where as the worst she had to worry about was stepping on broken glass and falling off a ladder. Both of which she'd already done, mind. The reason, however, that she disliked this particular task so much is that she was forced to look outside at the beautiful weather they'd been having, knowing that she wasn't enjoying it like a seventeen year old girl ought to be. That thought was immensely discouraging. Still, she knew there were worse things to be doing than washing windows.
She'd been taking a break from it when she caught the new bloke's entry in the journals. Figuring it would be better to start him off with something a bit safer, she offered to get him started on window duty as well. The redhead sat idly at the top of her ladder, swinging her legs lightly as she waited for Marco to find her. She knew it would probably take a bit of time, especially if he was new to the castle and didn't know all the tricks to the stairs and doorways which sometimes were less than helpful in finding things. That didn't bother her too much though as she hummed lightly to herself as she waited.
After what seemed like a while she heard something down the hall. She didn't want to get down from the ladder just yet though and scrunched her nose. "Marco?" She called out, loudly enough to be heard. She waited for a response.
