Thread: Speed and Wind Dancer & OPEN who: Tommy Shepard and Sofia Montega (OPEN to anyone who might hear screaming girl in the dorms) when: March 2, afternoon where: the school, girl's wing what: Tommy wants to talk to Julian, because he needs some advice and their bros like that. So, in typical boy obliviousness, he goes looking for him in Sofia's room. This is not a good plan. Hell hath no fury like a mutant woman trying to change.
Tommy wasn't that stupid. Okay, his track record would definitely suggest otherwise. He was stupid sometimes, and sometimes did really dumb things. But he knew when someone wanted something from him. And Kate? She definitely wanted something. Even in his (loathed to admit) limited experience with pretty girls, they did not go from "bacon breath" to "give me a tour" in the span of a week.
He felt, well, used.
No, scratch that dramatic statement of the week. He was confused and just a little disappointed, really. Stupid girls not making sense and being confusing. Anyway, Tommy was going to hang out with Julian. He didn't see this as a bare your soul and innermost secrets kind of talk (because that was kind of gay and guys didn't really do that). But his roommate knew a lot about girls. Or at least he pretended he did. So Tommy was going to see if Julian wanted to play a quick game of ball or even just do something that didn't involve thinking about what the hell was up with Kate. Sometimes he wished he'd gone back to just blowing stuff up when he didn't particularly care for it.
Unfortunately, Julian wasn't in their room at the moment. Classes were over for the afternoon, so he wasn't there. Nor was he drooling over Ms. Frost (like usual) or playing basketball outside. That left the most logical choice - he was with Sofia. Julian was always with Sofia lately. It was part of their "going steady" business he'd been so on about a few weeks ago. Lucky him. And since that obnoxious Zuzha girl had moved out, they'd been spending a lot of time in Sofia's room. 'Talking.' No, really. They did. It amused Tommy to no end.
He figured he wouldn't be interrupting anything this early in the afternoon, anyway. He might have given Julian a hassle on occasion, but he definitely wasn't going for a cock-block. That just wasn't cool. So he didn't hesitate before banging his fist against the door loudly. If they were doing anything rated R-rated (yeah right, this was Sofia), eh well, Julian would have to catch him before he could kill him.
