Who: Molly Hayes & David de Souza When: Around 5 PM Where: David's Office @ Mansion What: Molly's failing English because she's been ditching, so David tries to figure out why.
There was the trademark pink cap atop her head as she sunk down in the over-sized chair with a scowl on her face and her arms crossed. She honestly didn't need to be here and she didn't need the class she was skipping. She already spoke English and knew how to read and she could watch that Read Between the Lions show and learn everything she needed there. Not really, but she could do her own research on grammar and the like. She honestly just didn't like Ms. Blevins that much. It wasn't supposed to matter, but the woman's outlook and constant off color comments ever since Magneto's take over and helped to disillusion the girl to the purpose and ideals of the school.
It was one thing to have these opinions. It was another to blatantly throw them out in front of idealistic dreamers such as herself. She kind of felt a little jaded and sitting in the classroom with that woman smiling at the front of it like everything was okay depressed her. The thing that came naturally to her surfaced; running away. She avoided the negative aspect as much as possible. She just didn't want anything to do it. If there was another English teacher, she wouldn't be failing, but there wasn't. There was just Sally.
That's what led her to sit here in front of David's desk, legs dangling as her feet didn't quite touch the ground. She wasn't looking at anything in particular, just the pattern on the carpeted floor. Maybe if she stared at it long enough he'd think she was super stubborn, give up, and send her away. She didn't know this counselor like she knew Ororo. She didn't understand him. He surely didn't understand her. If he did try, she'd have to brace herself for a long long session.
