Sarena didn't really play basketball. But she was awake and doing nothing really. As far as the whole government situation went, she didn't really care. It was government. Regardless of whether it was for the people or against them, she didn't like the government. Anything with that much power and that little oversight was something to be suspicious of. Probably didn't help that she had spent most of her life on the wrong side of the law.
Growing up with a hooker mother and your father in jail can do that to some people. One had to say some people because she would be considered a success story now. She was actually extremely well off after Ran's brother had left her Ran's life insurance. Something that she kept trying to give back to him. It didn't sit well with her to have anything to do with money that came from dead people, that was a qualified statement by the fact that Ran was no longer dead.
A concept she was having a hard time wrapping her head around anyway.
Keller, she didn't really know him or honestly care about him. He was one more of Emma's pet students, she seemed to have about a half dozen that the Bitch Queen was grooming for something. Well, whatever, Ren would do what she did and see how things fell out.
"Nice shot," she said in response to his behavior toward the basketball. "Going for another one?"
