Lily & Rosalind
Oh Herbert was a baby by any standards; tiny, adorable, and seemingly without a filter. Still just listening to the little cactus' remarks had Lily blushing, mostly because the gardener found Roz to be very very pretty as well. Thankfully Rosalind didn't pry further; in fact the woman had always been easier to be around then most others...since she never teased Lily, or looked worried about being around a girl who talked to plants.
"Well I have been working on a batch of sweet peppers too! I mean, they are quite flavorful, and colorful too, but they won't have the same kick that those fiery ones had." Most folks looked at Lily strangely; the girl was always smudged with dirt, smelling of earth and a mix of wildflowers and herbs...all while giggling and whispering away to the greenery. In truth the young woman just felt far more at ease around her creations and less so around people. However there were a few exceptions to that rule...and Roz was one of them.
"I'm glad the blue berries worked out for you! If you wanted to ever try some other kinds of berries in your cooking just let me know." The muffins looked amazing, and smelled even better. Yet all Lisa could do was admire them from afar since the girl just couldn't bring herself to eat anything that came from an animal. It wasn't really a matter of animal rights, but far more to do with the fact that she had gotten almost deathly sick years ago after eating something that she had scavenged. Ever since then Lily stuck to consuming just veggies and fruits, especially the ones she created since the gardener new they would be fresh.
