It had been a very, very busy past few days for Draco, and he needed to catch up on some rest if he wished to even begin to make an impression on being himself with Ginny Weasley. Curling up on the sofa in the living room (now complete with a television, shockingly enough), Draco draped a blanket over himself and let himself drift off into what began as a deep, peaceful sleep. However, it didn't take him long at all before he slipped into a deeper, more subconscious sleep. As he fell into a deeper rest, a chill crept over him, and Draco drew the blanket more tightly around his body without quite realizing it.
In this dream, a voice started to speak to Draco, however. He was barely aware of it coming to him, but when it struck him, it was almost a haunting, calm voice. "Take care of her," the voice whispered to him, the words dry and almost sticking in the throat of whomever was speaking to him. "Do what's best and right by us, and take care of my little girl." Confused, wondering where in the hell this voice was coming from, Draco fell farther into his dream, letting the depths of darkness cover him protectively.
As he slid even more into the darkness, an image of Molly's face floated--just floated--into his mind. Her words repeated, although they almost sounded threatening in the depth of the nightmare that Draco found himself locked within. He never even heard Ginny arrive at his flat, so deeply was he locked into this dream. Nor was he aware of how chilled his skin had become, or the fact that he'd slipped quite far into sleep. This simple image, those simple words, just kept floating in his mind, as if they were the most important thing in the world right now...
