It was no small wonder that James had to work quite hard to win his wife, who was not only beautiful but charming and intelligent-just the sort of lively woman that he fancied Gwenog to be. Oliver wondered, though, what sorts of changes he would need to make in order to woo his Harpy.
"What changed do you need to make then? Just out of curiosity. Not that I don't think I need some updating, I'm sure we all do, but still."
He thought about James' question and answered after a small pause. "Well, one is good and one is bad I think, so your advice is appreciated. I thought of getting her a quite nice copy of a book I liked that I thought, if she read it, she might like too. Show her I'm more than just a stupid Quidditch player-even if I'm a handsome one at that. The second is to charm a rose to appear at her door every day until she agrees to go on a date with me, but that might seem more like a threat..." he said, trailing off.
