There was a moment when he took her arm and pulled her near to apparate away that she let her face press into his shoulder and she inhaled. He always smelled like the outdoors. The world righted itself though, the ground was beneath her feet and the moment was over. She was where she had spent far too many nights. Nights that as an ex-girlfriend one would assume you wouldn't spend anymore. Nothing she seemed to do was ordinary though.
A small smile began to work it's way across her features as he spoke. Things were as they always were and in this moment, it was exactly what she wanted. She wanted the familiarity and safety he always provided. "You don't like my sweats?" Eva asked with a hint of laughter entering her voice. She pulled the side of one over-sized leg to the side and did a curtsy. She sighed softly as she righted herself and grabbed Steve's arm before he could head out on the crisp mission. Eva squeezed her fingers around his and pressed up on her toes to brush her lips over his cheek. "Thank you." She dropped down quickly and let go of his hand just as quickly before heading into the Blue room.
A wash of her face (and oh gods how much mascara had she been wearing?), a brush of her teeth and the donning of an old t-shirt of his that she had long ago stolen as her own paired with a pair of pajama pants, Eva emerged. She settled onto the sofa, tucking her feet underneath her. Her stomach called loud and clear for the crisps.
