WHO: Eva and Steve
WHERE: Police Station in Hampshire and then Steve's
WHEN: Wednesday Night
WHAT: A little trespassing goes a long way (oh and Steve to the rescue)
RATING: TBD
The Custody Sergeant was a twat. That was the one real thing that Eva could attest to after far too many hours (nearing 24) now, that she had spent in the police station. He was uppity and had a creepy look about him. Eva tapped her fingers against her knees, her heels following suit before she pushed to her feet and began to pace the length of the small holding cell again. She needed out of the horrid little box and-
She kicked the bench she'd been sitting on which only resulted in a yelp and tears coming to her eyes. How did she get herself into these situations. At the time the day before the suggestion of breaking into that ritzy house in Hampshire and helping themselves to the indoor pool the house possessed sounded like a brilliant plan. So had the colourful little pills she had eagerly snatched out of... oh what was his name again's hand. However when the occupants of the house came home and she found herself being chased down the block by several police officers... the plan began to lose some of it's luster. 24 hours later, it was entirely dull.
She hadn't wanted to call him. But she always called him. She couldn't call her father or her sister and certainly not her mother. She was fairly certain that they wouldn't even come get her if she did, probably thought she needed the time to sit and think about her actions. But they didn't understand... how confining and claustrophobic it felt being trapped in the small room.
"Now now luv, no need to cry. Your little knight in shining armor is here." The Sergeant appeared to let her out, giving her that creepy look that she NEVER wanted to see again. Eva tried to push past him but she knew from experience that there were formalities. Far too many as far as she was concerned. Finally though she stepped out of the back of the office with her small bag of still damp clothes (not the sloppy sweats she wore now) and spotted Steve waiting for her. Eva ducked her head sheepishly as she stepped toward him.
"Sorry- I-" She always said sorry.
