Harry gave a quick nod and stepped out onto his floor and to the Auror offices.
The day went by in something of a blur. Now, more than ever, Harry thought he was being watched. Not that he hadn't been before, but the feeling lingered throughout the day in a way that it hadn't had before. And people were pulled into the Head Auror's office and came back out looking even more severe than when they'd gone in... and just stayed there. Weren't dispatched. It was strange. Even more strange, because Harry wasn't called in.
Something was wrong.
As soon as five o'clock rang, Harry made his way down to the cafeteria, smiling, nodding and waving at those he crossed, just as he had always done. A few people followed him into the elevator and chatted with him, but thankfully didn't follow him all the way to his destination. Percy wasn't there yet, and as he took a seat, Harry was forced to question his paranoia. Was he really being watched that much more closely than he had been, or was he imagining things?
