Married life was still an illusion. Things were getting better but all of it was unnerving. What had happened to her uneventful, sickleless little life? Tracey was starting to actually like Isaac. To want to spend time with him. And for the first time in quite a while, she could breathe easy when a bill came due. She even had some time for herself lately and when Astoria asked to go shopping, Tracey jumped on the opportunity.
Giving perfunctory kisses in return, Tracey didn't miss where Astoria's gaze landed. "I'm very well, now that you ask. I wouldn't miss this. I won't have to give you truth serum to tell me if something looks horrible." Grinning she linked their arms together and rubbed her thumb against the skin where her wedding ring should sit if she were actually wearing it. "I should wear it, you're saying?" Tracey raised her brow. Astoria hadn't said a word but the glance was enough to make her self-conscious about not wearing Isaac's ring.
"Maybe if we get done before Gringott's closes, we can stop by and get it." She'd decided. It really was time. "So tell me, what are we shopping for today?" The only outfit on her mind was the dress robes she needed for her wedding reception. Hopefully Astoria needed something more entertaining than that.
