Lavender's skin crawled a little with the way he looked at her and she mentally patted herself on the back for not meeting him down a dark alley. Still, the look was a positive one and one that she may be able to use for leverage. Either way, the more likely he was to think she was just cute and stupid the more likely he was to under estimate her. She thought that was a good thing but it wasn't the first time she wondered if she shouldn't have learned a bit more from Isaac.
"And if I buy you a cone but you can't help me?" she asked, still keeping things light and some what playful, though this man didn't look like he did much playing at all. She followed him to the door though, subtly staying back so that he would be opening it instead of the other way around.
