Appearance: Alex is disconcerting. There is very little difference between his male and female sides, if he is fully clothed and said clothing isn't trying to reveal the (little) cleavage his female side has. The lines of his face are a little softer as a girl, his eyes a little more narrow as a male, but that is it. His shoulders remain as broad, his waist as skinny, and he basically has no hips as a male or a female.
It doesn't help that his genetics make him absolutely gorgeous … and that only leads to more creepiness because no one can solidly identify him as male or female at first glance. People who aren't comfortable with being possibly attracted to the same gender often have a very negative first impression of him. His half Japanese, half Irish ancestry had blended will in his features, giving him soft black hair he usually wears short, narrow, blue-gray eyes, and very pale skin kept pale with a lot of strong sunscreen on the few days of the year the sun is actually out.
On average, he is thought to be a girl seventy-five percent of the time. His skirts and makeup verify those gender standards more than they verify any masculine ones. While at work, he is usually in subdued colors, but he has a thing against the monochrome that is adored by the average suit-wearing Agent or HR person. Down with monotone! On his own, he gravitates to bright colors and crazy fashions
PB: Gackt
Background: Hoo boy. Here we go. Alexis was never the most masculine of boys growing up. It worried his parents, due to social standards and that kids enjoyed bullying and their pretty, doll-like son would be target number one. When their bully-target joined the peewee football team and managed to do very well, they calmed down and stopped worrying about the fact he played with dolls, My Little Ponies, and pretty princess dress up in his free time with the neighborhood girls. So long as he didn't leave the house or put on plays where he was wearing the sparkly princess outfit, it was okay.
Even now, Alex isn't sure what happened on that fateful night he turned thirteen. All he knew is that he woke up covered in sweat and blood and was undeniably female. He panicked, his parents panicked, and no one they contacted had any idea what was going on. Initially, many doctors considered their calls a hoax until Alex learned to switch back to male (although he had no control over it and would switch back and forth at random intervals) and was able to prove that he could turn into a she and back again.
