i don't even want to know how long this is Player name: Arashi
Character name: Niamh (Sadhbh Tristis) Age: 21 Profession: Intern at the hospital/medicine section of AM, used to be trainee agent
Power, if applicable: n/a
Where do they live?: AM apartment
Personality: Niamh is at the core, a very sweet and caring girl. She's likely to take notice or an interest in your well-being, ask if you're all right if you're looking ill or off or down. However, she's observant enough or tries to be observant enough to back off if you're uncomfortable or obviously tight-lipped. She'll care but she won't press; she'll just let you know she's there for you if you want her to be. Part of her desire to be of help and care for others is because she was mostly taken care of when she was younger, and that ended in disaster, so it's time for her to take action by herself. It's why she tries so hard to appear capable and independent, too. Not overly so like she'd throw it in your face, but if she feels like she's being too coddled, but she'll work to discretely show you how she can handle herself.
That said, she is an active person with active goals and ambition. She is determined and she'll do her best to reach her goals. She has a stubborn streak behind all her sweetness. Let it be said, though, that she is a hard worker, and she works hard for anything she's gained.
And while she can be firm and stubborn in her ideals, it does take an awful lot to get a true rise out of Niamh. She'll shake her head, be disappointed, or just ignore you before she'd actually get truly angry. She only has a few true triggers, and those all revolve how close you can hit to home about her family situation. She will not let you say her search for her brother is fruitless (if you ever found out about her search, that is).
However, in all of this, there is a slight undercurrent of subdued sadness to Niamh, if you look close enough (or catch her when she thinks she's all by herself and no one's watching). She's been searching for her brother for seven years, and while she's never given up hope (for hope is as much as part of her core as kindness is), the search has worn her down a bit. She was (and still is) dependent on her brother (she's dependent on the fact that her brother is still alive and findable), and going so long without someone she loved, depended on, and was so close to has chipped away at her. (AKA she gets emo)
