Player name: idk ask rere
Character name: Julia Wickham Age: 20 Profession: AF operative (she uses her powers for bad and gets little children and poor unfortunate souls to be experimented on or w/e else tits mcgee plans to do with them)
Power, if applicable: Empathy. She can tune into the feelings of anyone near her and manipulate others' feelings to a very small degree.
Where do they live?: Eventually somewhere in Victory, I bet.
Personality: Her powers of empathy has pretty much wrecked her emotional IQ and has led her to become a bit emotionally stunted. Julia tries very had to appear normal, but she fails at it. She's a bit rough around the edges and is somewhere near three steps away from a nervous breakdown underneath all the layers and pretensions she tries to put up. Mostly, she tries to seem friendly or tough like some kind of jokester, but she really just comes off of having the attention span of a gnat.
She's not used to her power at all and doesn't even really want it. Her speech patterns and habits reflect that since she seems to stutter or stop or repeat herself or even changes the subject abruptly midsentence. Her handle on her power is really poor so even when she tries to shut it away, she gets distracted when she feels other people's emotions, and then when she tries to use her power full blast, she can't really filter everything very well. Because of this, she probably comes off very ADD or crazy.
Mostly, she's a frazzled individual. She has no idea what she's feeling half the time and if what she's feeling is from outside influences or her own actual feelings. If she concentrates really hard, she can actually be useful, but her concentration is easily broken. She's a bit of a mess and knows that, which is why she tries to seem capable, especially since she's part of AF.
She has a fragile sense of self, but somehow, she's really good with children (even if she didn't have her power). It's probably due to the fact that her empathy has kind of turned her into a permanent child with her inability to truly see reality past her own needs. She has a kind of selfishness and self-centeredness a child would have.
Appearance: Julia has the facial features to be cute and pretty, but she generally likes to keep it casual and doesn't wear much make up. Despite what some of her icons seem, she likes to wear simple clothes, almost to the point where you could call some of her outfits tomboy apparel but not quite. She is extremely slim and skinny with little to no curves, but that doesn't really matter to her since she doesn't care to wear clothes that'd enhance her curves or lack thereof anyway.
One of the things that might throw her cuteness off is that she has a wide mouth, and when she grins, there's a slight quirk that makes it seem like she's especially laughing at you. Julia also has a thing for sunglasses or aviators, so it's not uncommon to see a pair perched on her head just because. She also chopped off her long brown hair a few months ago, but she's still getting used to it.
PB: Ashley Greene
Background: Born in Yorkshire, England to a single mother meant she didn't have the rosiest and most ideal of childhoods, but it was a good enough one. Her mother worked to support their small family, and she tried to be an unobtrusive child. Things really only changed on evening in her early teens when she got food poisoning after eating some Yorkshire pudding (something in the eggs, something more than salmonella gone way, way wrong). (She still loves Yorkshire pudding, though. It would be wrong and she would cry forever if she couldn't stand it anymore.)
After a visit to the hospital, she thought she was fine, but then she started going crazy. Or she thought she was going crazy. She was suddenly having mood swings when she never had before. It didn't make any sense. Were her minds playing tricks with her...?
