Location: New Mexico. It never ceases to amaze me how many people think New Mexico = Mexico.
What you want in an IJ friend: I would love to meet anyone else that has similar interests or is just an all-around sweet-heart. People that can tolerate reading my random entries that usually include, but are not limited to: rants/gushes about my day and my kids, Rping babbles, fangirl giggles, and the occasional whining about how dissatified I am with my life at any given time, haha. Someone that occasionally comments to let me know they're still around would be swell, too. Oh, did I mention my potty mouth? Yeah, someone that can tolerate that, too.
What you don't want in an IJ friend: Drama llamas, people that get off on tearing other people down to make themselves feel better, hate mongers, and people without a sense of humor.
A link to your profile: Here. I haven't had a chance to start posting entries, but I'm working on it.
I've thought alot about what I would say here, but written introductions are always the worst. Don't expect Dante' or Frost, because I have a tendency to come off like an idiot/dork when giving a written description of myself. Ok, so I am both of those things, but that'll be our little secret, shhh. I'm Originally from Texas, but am currently living in New Mexico. This place is pretty much what I imagine Hell is like. Of course, the base is here and because of that and school, I'll be here for a while. Cosmetology = love. Being nearly finished with the program = more love. Haha, yes, now I actually work on the floor doing hair, nails, make-up...be afraid for them. All in all, I'm a very friendly person, albeit a little shy until I really get to know people. Always happy to meet new people and try new things.
My musical tastes are so all over the map that it would be useless to list my favorites. I just dig music, and I find something to enjoy in every genre. A few of my favorites are: Led Zep, Rush, Dead or Alive, AC/DC, Prince, 80's hair bands, 80's music in general, Avenged Sevenfold, Pop, rock, country, and so on. Movies? Yep, love movies, too. I'm all over the place here, as well. I love good comedy and horror (I grew up with the original Texas Chainsaw movies as staples in my library of terror), but I'm also a huge Sci-Fi nerd. I'm a major Star-Wars fan (Darth Vader and Boba Fett are still my favorites), preferring the original to the prequels, and, of course, what would any movie list be without all the awesome 80's Brat Pack flicks? I'm a fan of the classics (Rock&Doris, Vivien&Clark, Elizabeth&Richard, etc.), anything with Bruce Lee, and I'm also a HUGE Anime lover.
I don't have much time (or attention span) to read as often as I'd like, but I'm looking at my bookshelf right now, and I've got everything from TCP/IP/A+ certification books to encyclopedias, Anne Rice to Tommy Lee, Kevin Aucoin to photography. Exorcising your ex by Elizabeth Kuster is a hilarious read, and The Dirt changed my life. Ok, not really, but wouldn't it be kind of cool if it had? That would mean I had transformed myself into an alcoholic, party animal that loved to chase women. As Wayne and Garth would say "Party on."
Anything else? Nah. All in all, I'm a 16 year old married, mother of two that just happens to be stuck in a 33/34 year old's body. I may not always be the most mature, but I care about the people I come into contact with and I'm pretty good to have around when you just want someone to listen.
