Hi, my name's Melissa and I'm eighteen years old. I used to be broken_glass_x, but I switched journals. I love to read and listen to music like the rest of the world. My favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, Stephen King, Anne Rice, etc. My favorite bands are Zeromancer, Silversun Pickups, Lady GaGa, etc. I'm really into photography and will post photos occasionally. I love vampires (not typically the sparkly kind, in case you were wondering), rainbows, and other generic happy la-la shit.
Just looking for some friends who are laid back and don't need me to update every single day and don't mind if I don't comment all the time. I update frequently, but my schedules change with being in school. I comment whenever I have something to comment about, but I always read my friend's entries. INTERESTS; I looove music...who doesn't though, right? But here - I attended Drexel University for Entertainment & Arts Management with the intention of going into the music business, but I transferred so now my major is just marketing/pr. So you see, I'm pretty dedicated to the whole music thing :P
I also really really like to cook. I'm not huge on baking as much as cooking, but I do like that too. I love to play with flavors and textures and it makes me really happy when people enjoy the food I make ^.^
Other than that, I like to just chill with friends or go out and have a good time. I don't have any other hobbies that I'm really deeply involved in...I like a little bit of everything haha
LOOKING FOR; I just want friends! Interesting people with something to say. People that will interact, because as much as I enjoy writing just for myself, it's better when there's some interaction =]
ANYTHING ELSE; I used to journal a lot back in middle school and some of high school. I'm just getting back into it...literally, I only made my new journal today! I'm awful at knowing what to write about myself, but I promise, I can be pretty cool ;]
