hey, my name is allison and i am looking for a few new friends. i've been on ij on and off since '07 and right now it is definitely on--at least for awhile, as i missed the intimate feeling of it and sharing my life with others (and reading about other people's lives). i am eighteen years old and will be a freshman in college majoring in journalism in less than a month, i used to be really excited about this but now i am just thinking of how much i will miss my mom and my dog. i'm a very nice person who's open-minded and hates confrontation, which doesn't always workout for me for some reason. i hate instant messaging, but i can have a comment, email, or facebook conversation for hours. i enjoy reading, some tv (the soup, skins, bones, scrubs, true blood, cold case, csi, x-files, and law and order: svu basically) harry potter (hbp at midnight was sweet), music (arctic monkeys, kanye west, lupe fiasco, amy winehouse, kid cudi, jason mraz, m.i.a., john mayer, drake, feist, someone still loves you boris yeltsin, coldplay, sondre lerche, jack's mannequin, john legend, etc), and making plans to start living my life--i plan on following through someday.

the kind of entries i make in my journal are of a wide spectrum: sometimes they're kinda long, sometimes they're nostalgic, sometimes it's photobooth pictures or me forcing my dog into a photoshoot, and i've been known to post pointless facebook conversations at 2am. i don't claim to be the most interesting person ever but i'm telling you that beforehand :). i use caps and slightly less shitty punctuation in my journal entries, although i tend to avoid them at all other times. hoping to meet a few new friends :)!
