Hi. My name is Mandie. I'm a self-proclaimed Instant Star obsessive and even though the series has ended...I am still very much into the show and will continue to be until another television show is able to feel the void. Ha.

I'll be 19 in a couple of weeks. I'm a college student majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing. I have two dogs that are more important to me than any person. I like photography, music, graphics design, rp, writing and video editing. I spent a lot of my time on the computer doing one thing or another. I pretty much have a pretty boring life, but I tend to write about that boredom anyway.

Last night, I heard my first Patti Smyth track. "The Warrior." I'm in love.

19 years old and a college sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education
One thing I wish people would know, just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm not experienced in my field. I have worked as a camp counselor, babysitter, live in nanny, substitute teacher, and head summer camp teacher. I also have taken and am taking several courses in education. Don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about when I start ranting on about child rearing :)
I'm originally a northern girl born and raised at the Jersey Shore until I moved down to South Carolina last year to start college. I have completely changed my ways, and love being a southern girl, there really is nothing better than the south :)
My favorite TV shows are Greys, Desperate Housewives, Golden Girls (RIP Estelle) Reba, Law and Order SVU, Full House, The Secret Life of the American Teenager (Don't tell anyone...) and Army Wives
I love literally all kinds of music. Rap, R&B, Alternative, Soft Rock, Ballads, Country, Christian, Pop.
I'm just enjoying my time being young really. I hate working and I hate school. But I'm loving this whole experience of being on my own and not having anyone to answer to.
I love the beach, photography, scrapbooking, parties, and my friends.
I'm obsessed with IJ haha I love being able to get my feelings all sorted out and update often. And I do comment often pretty much every entry
