I've done this before..but I'm bored and looking for some more friends so whatever.

I'm Rhian. I live in Des Moines, Iowa and am bored a lot. I'm 17 and I'm a dorky little geeky thing who pretty much lives on the computer. I'm big into the online trading card games and I like crafts and cute and fluffy stuff and pretending that I'm a hardcore ex-goth loner bitch in public (meaning I ain't got no social life nor a stereotype anymore *sigh*). I'm turning 18 next month so right now my jounral is filled with whining about how I want to move in with my boyfriend today...today...today... Sometimes I do talk about other things though, but nothing extremely interesting. (God doing a great job of advertising.)

I'm looking for anyone who shares my interests or is just an active poster because I like having things to read and comment on.

My name is Megan. I'm fifteen and an honors student. Bisexual. I love reading, and I have a bit of a loner complex - for the most part I tend to be very introverted with a small group of friends. I also love writing, and I want to have some books published eventually. I'd like to go into the Peace Corps after college. I'm very open-minded to most things. I try not to judge people, but I don't think there's a such thing as a completely non-judgmental person.

I like music. This includes My Chemical Romance, A Fine Frenzy, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Paramore, The Academy Is, Matchbox 20, Panic at the Disco, Damien Rice, The Beatles, Carrie Underwood, and Christina Aguilera. No, that's not all the music I like. I listen to a lot of mainstream stuff, some indie, a little country, some pop... I really can't stand rap for the most part.

I like books, too. Like the Twilight series, Harry Potter, A Walk to Remember, Born Confused, the Narnia series, Speak, The Lovely Bones, Wicked, and Stephen King books. You might also sometimes find me with my nose buried in a nonfiction book sometimes as well. I have an obsession with World War two and the American Civil war.

Friend me if I seem interesting. As long as you keep a basically open mind, I think we'll get along great. I just joined IJ, I don't really care who friends me. I want to actually make a connection with someone and not just be another name on the friends list.
