AGE: Twenty minus one.

INTERESTS; What am I interested in... a lot of things. You, me, the world, everything in it, maybe nothing at all. I like to write, so people are up there pretty high on the list. I like knowing what makes the gears turn in people's heads, why they do the things they do. I'm pretty big on video games and manga, and a variety of both. You can usually get me to geek out about something.

I like learning new things, and history has always fascinated me. I love art and wish I could create it, I sing all the time but not well, and it's a deep, dark, secret desire of mine to be able to compose songs. (I'm still working on that.)

I don't have a lot in the way of things on this journal yet, since I just moved over... but I sincerely like people, probably because I find them so interesting, so chances are we'll find something in common.

HOBBIES; Number one, creative writing. I do that roleplaying thing with my sisters, both with anime/manga characters and our own original ones. I've got a novel in the works and a series planned, though for the latter I'm really dragging my feet. I seem to want it to be perfect and that's making it hard to kick myself in the butt and actually do it.

Actually, I have a lot of open stories sitting around, ideas half-baked and waiting for me to gain interest enough to work on them. I'm really trying to focus on one in particular right now and actually get it published, though. So we'll see.

I crochet, which is a lot more fun than I thought it would be and it gives me a ridiculous amount of pride to make a scarf. (Yes, that's all I know how to make so far.) Eventually.. I will learn how to make something else. But for now, I'm fine with just scarves.

I suppose I watch more television now than I used to, being at college and living in a dorm room by myself. Mostly I turn it on for background noise, but I catch myself watching things like Will & Grace, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent, Bones, Friends... Queer as Folk (though that one's on DVD boxed sets).. that kind of thing.

Oh. I also terrorize children as a source of great personal amusement.

Just kidding. I love kids. I want four, actually. But step one would be getting a significant other, right? Oh well.

LOOKING FOR; I.. am not picky. You want to be my friend, great! You don't, oh well. This isn't match.com or anything, and it's not like we're making a lifelong commitment to be BFFs. I'm just looking for new people to talk to, hopefully relate to. If you are too, why not give it a shot?

ANYTHING ELSE; I have strong opinions and I'm not afraid to share them. I might offend you sometimes, and I generally won't apologize for it. I don't judge people by anything other than their personality, and I don't love people for anything other than their personality, either. That's gotten me in trouble a few times in the relationship sphere, but eh. It's give and take and generally a pain in the butt to date anyway.

AGE: 22
INTERESTS: I have a lot, but my main interests include: video games, music, reading, and writing. All the things I've listed in my profile I'm really interested in, but I don't necessarily have time to engage in all of them.
HOBBIES: Pretty much the same as the main interests above. I guess what I really spend a lot of time doing at the moment (outside of school), is playing games and writing. I have a half finished novel that I'm putting away for a bit. It's quite bad, but it's been fun.
LOOKING FOR: Anyone that shares some of my interests. Most likely I'll accept anyone.
ANYTHING ELSE: I tend to go through periods of obsession with things I like. Right now I'm on a big Japanese Rock kick (hurts my money supply), Final Fantasy Tactics (I play too much), CSI (I watch it whenever it's on), and I've been buying too many books. The books are starting to pile up in a big "read me" stack. I also spend way too much time online.
