I'm another coming over from GJ, but I'm not just here to find my old GJ friends; I'd also like to find some new people to add. People that share my interest in Gina Gershon and/or Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), especially, since they're my favorite people ever and I can never have too many friends who like to talk about them. Here's a bit of basic info, for those of you who like that kind of thing. My name is Jessica, I'm 22 and I live in Utah. I have a lame ass job, selling people packaged trips to Disneyland/getting yelled at by said people and I'd much rather get paid to sit around and listen to music all day instead, because if there's one thing I know how to do, it's that. I like going on ghost hunts with my friends - the real ones that require equipment and seriousness, not just the "let's go here, I hear it's haunted!!" ones, though those are almost as much fun. I RP, which is basically why I migrated over here, and I mainly do celeb, but I dip into PB every once in a while when I get the urge to. Some TV shows I like are Rescue Me, Grey's Anatomy and The L Word...I'll also admit that I get sucked into reality television very easily, even if I think most of it is too stupid for words. My two favorite movies are Prey for Rock & Roll and Dancing at the Blue Iguana and I was obsessed with Steel Magnolias and Cocktail when I was a kid (the obsessions with Gina and Daryl Hannah have stuck).

Hey I'm Allison and a recent gj transplant (formerly /~witwickys over there) and I'm looking for some new friends. :D I'm seventeen, or at least I will be on the 24th so it seems useless to still put 16. I love literature, especially dystopian novels, harry potter, and coming of age books. My favorite books however are: 1984, The Lovely Bones, HBP, Catcher in the Rye, and a book I read in 6th grade but will always love Walk Two Moons. Some of my favorite shows are: Weeds, Ugly Betty, Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, Cold Case, Heroes, X-Files, Twilight Zone, and trashy reality tv on vh1. Lately I've become obsessed with Man vs Wild even more so because of the whole gross factor. I want to be an investigative journalist (hence the username: I really admire Anderson Cooper) when I'm older or a historian. My favorite music is MIA, Arctic Monkeys, Jack's Mannequin, and John Mayer just to name a few since my musical taste is very diverse.
