Hi! I'm migrating from livejournal and made a new journal here, so I'd love to have some new journals to read. I'm 24 and a student. I have a lot of guy drama, but have really great friends to balance it out, so everything works out for the better in the end... or that's what I like to tell myself.

I'm an English major and a writer, though I've only had minor things appear in really grass-roots publications, mostly student run (either affiliated with schools or not). I live on my own now, though I've lived with roommates since I was 21 so I have some interesting roommate stories. I've lived interesting places, too. (By interesting, I really mean sort of sketchy.)

I'm working class. There was a time in my life when I couldn't even afford to use change for the laundromat and had to wash my clothes by hand, so it's a big deal that I'm in school now. I like to drink and party, but I put school first over any of that because I'm just really happy to be studying. My hope is that it will give me better prospects in the future, you know?

I have two cats that I adopted from the humane society but I promise there won't be post after post of cat pictures. They are adorable, however, and I totally judge based on how much my cats like or dislike the guys I bring home.

I'd be most interested in reading about people who are twenty and over, but I won't count anyone out simply based on age. It's all about the person, in the end.

Hey, I updated here ages ago, before I made the official switch from GJ to IJ. Thought I'd make another post. I lost a good majority of my friends during the destruction of GJ, as people have migrated over to LJ. Anyway! About me:

Interests: A majority of my interests are already listed in my profile but the big ones for me are roleplaying, writing (I'm somewhat of a novelist), photography, art, philosophy, psychology (particularly criminal), history, literature, music.

I'm 23. From Arizona. Married with a daughter, but still a kid at heart, completely. Most of my time and entries are centered around my interests, roleplaying and writing more than anything or music. I enjoy getting to know those on my friends list and I'm pretty easy to get along with.
