Hello! My name is Rachel, and I've just migrated to IJ from LJ today after a short hiatus from blogging. I turn 17 next month, and I already feel old. I live in a little town in the middle of nowhere, where amish people live down the road from me and I have deer in my yard every morning. I'm a writer, photographer, and artist, as well as a Christian and a bisexual. I think I'm a pretty interesting person, but not everyone would agree with that.

I won't lie: I'm not much into fandom. I left LJ on principle; I wasn't directly affected at all, nor was anyone I know. I don't write fanfiction or create fanart, but I occasionally babble about how awesome such-and-such is. I'm really into Hellblazer/Constantine, Tolkien, and Star Wars (OT). I have fits here and there where I fangirl Viggo Mortensen like mad, but they're not too frequent and I try to restrain myself. Honestly, I mostly write about school and friends, with a dash of politics or religion here and there.

My journal's partially public. Basically anything I wouldn't want my parents, teachers, or pastor to see goes under a friendslock. I'd like to meet some new friends on here, because right now I'm feeling rather lonely with only my OpenID account as a friend.
