-I have two wonderful kittens, Neko and Azula.
-I'm the oldest of four: Jeremy, 21; Ashley, 17; and Hannah, 6.
-My parents are divorced and got remarried within 24 hours of each other.
-I'm a secretary in a prison.
-I live in central Missouri, where it is currently hotter than the SUN.
-I sometimes say things that I shouldn't.

Favorites:
MOVIES: I love a lot of movies, but I could watch some over and over again. Like Ever After, Animal House, Cinderella, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Hairspray, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Serenity, Mean Girls, Clueless, Love Actually, When Harry Met Sally, Taxi Driver, and MOAR!

TV: Gilmore Girls (mostly seasons 1 through the middle of 4), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Firefly, Heroes, The Office, Doctor Who, CSI (Vegas), Law and Order, pretty much anything on Adult Swim.

BOOKS: Harry Potter, Stephanie Plum, sleazy-trashy novels ("historical romances", if you will), A Time to Kill by John Grisham, pretty much anything in print.

MUSIC: My taste in music covers pretty much every genre. Guster, Matt Wertz, Kelly Clarkson, any musical soundtrack, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Panic! At the Disco, Sick Puppies, and much much more.

This is getting long, so I'll finish here, I suppose. I don't think there's enough room to adequately describe myself. I'm complex and fun (or so I've been told). :D I love my friends dearly and am fiercely loyal. I like making graphics and own leaky_sponge here and on LJ. :)

I'm moriath here, on LJ, on GJ and on JF; pretty much if you see this name it's going to be me posting :-)

I'm a 22 year old English/Communication major with just one more semester left of school. After that I'm heading out into the big scary world of being an adult. I'm sure as I get closer to graduation my posts will become slightly more frantic and filled with angst about that big change.

For the last four years I was a member of my school's competitive speech team and this year I anticipate helping coach the current competitors. This means that I am constantly digging up information for new speeches, so don't be surprised if I sometimes start blogging about really random things that would make awesome speeches for the competitors.

I'm also a huge nerd. I write femmeslash for the Harry Potter fandom, and occasionally for Pirates of the Caribbean and Animorphs. I will squee randomly about Pirates whenever the mood takes me (for example, I get to write a paper this semester about the movies. How awesome is that?!). I'm also a big role player, and I'm even helping my boyfriend and his best friend create an entirely new gaming system. It's awesome, if I do say so myself.

I love young adult literature, and one of my career aspirations is to either be an editor for YA lit, or become a YA librarian. Pretty much any book I read is going to be a YA book, unless I'm reading it for class. The YA books are always better.

My favorite music is showtunes. I love movies in general, but don't see very many; it's just that the ones I do see (and like) I become obsessed with until I know everything I possibly can. I love science fiction and anything from my childhood (you don't wanna know how hyped I became when I learned that Labyrinth is being re-released on DVD later this month and Fraggle Rock's third season is on DVD September 11!).

I'm also known for blogging about political/feminist issues quite a bit. More how politics intersects with feminism than anything else. Yeah, I'm a big ol' bisexual feminist and not afraid to own it. In fact, I even created the feminism asylum over here when I first noticed that IJ didn't have one yet.
