Hullo! I'm Michelle and I've been here for a little while but just recently discovered this community. I'm not really that involved in any fandoms, but I really like a few shows (Star Trek and Dead Like Me...also both Buffy and Angel on a good day). I also have an eternal love for the Lord of the Rings movies.  

My attitude towards both religion and sexual orientation is the same...I'm open to possibilities. I just call myself Agnostic and bisexual for short, and I'll also say that I would never begrudge anyone on behalf of any of their beliefs, preferences, or inclinations. I'm also a liberal. I'm interested in a lot of things, but astronomy is my biggest interest and it always has been. So then my biggest goal in life is to not be afraid of heights anymore (getting there) and become an astronaut. :)  I like being outside, because there is lots of space and fun things to do. I really like music and I play flute and am learning piano.

I just made my great escape from high school a month ago, and I've been getting progressively happier ever since (most confining, repeditive enviornment I've been in ever). I'll be majoring in International Studies at college next year, and probably will add a science major later but I don't know which. I don't know what I want to do, as far as careers go, but I want it to be something international, with lots of travel. I'm also really, really looking forward to learning Arabic next year.

As for my dislikes...I don't much care for country music or much of the music written post-90s (generalizing here). I hate coconut and am not a fan of white cheeses. It annoys me when people act in ways that are hypocritical and/or judgemental. I'm also not a big fan of staying at home a lot, I prefer to be busy.

: ) No way I'm ending on that note. Though there isn't much else to say... I've never been big on organized sports but I've been on a swim team for the past six years to kill time. As of this fall, I am a retired swimmer. I love my dogs, my friends, and my laptop. I'm a big reader.
