Since this is my new permanent home (with brief side jaunts to LJ just to check on friends who are still there), I figured I would introduce myself.

My name is Romy, I am 34 and have been a long time member of various fandoms. You can find me most active in Weiss Kreuz, Saiyuki, Gundam Wing, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Final Fantasy (VII). I run a fansite museum to Weiss Kreuz, but I can't manage to jazz up my own journals. I guess I like the look of simplicity.

I am a sucker for colorbars, banners and icons. I collect them - I really do. I also probably need an intervention when it comes to creating communities/asylums (I have created a little over a dozen already O_o;;) many of which are for fandom related activitie such as writing fanfiction and sharing art.

Speaking of fiction and art - I don't write, can't to save my ass. I break all the rules of grammar at the best of times but at least my spelling is decent and I don't speak leet. I sketch a bit and am working to become better at it. I am a self-taught in that regard.

I have issues. So many people do, right? But I deal with those issues very well and am definitely an "overcome"-type of personality.

I am not emo, but I do have bad days and tend to write about them. I also share my joys as well as silly stuff and pointless fangirly things.

I tend to listen to an ecclectic mix of music - everything from Assemblage 23 to Metallica to E.S. Posthumus to soundtracks to JRock/Pop. Music has been a big part of my survival since I was very young.

I like movies, I read a lot, and am a bit of an anime music video whore.
