INTERESTS; Russia. Chechnya. Religion. Peace. Other men. I don't know. I like literature - my favorites are Rimbaud, Mayakovsky, Makanin, Farid al-din Attar - and filmmaking - Robert Bresson, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Aleksandr Sokurov, Abbas Kiarostami - so you now have a pretty good idea of my taste. (Anybody want to recommend me something to watch/read?) Photography and art is also interesting to me. I have a gigantic crush on Slava Mogutin so if you're into him I already like you in advance.
HOBBIES; Drinking, drugs, writing, sitting around wishing I were back in the Motherland. Recreational complaining. There's an inordinate amount of whining on my journal, yes.
LOOKING FOR; I - qualifications? Jesus. No, I like people. I'm just looking for people who live honestly, who have no pretensions and who aren't intimidated by me. I try hard to like everyone. I don't really consider myself an artist or a part of the intelligentsia, having left school around the age of thirteen and supporting myself through all kinds of evil and the occasional factory job, and really I prefer my fellow proletarians. I'm not going to look down on anyone. (It would be cool if you were a hot Russian guy, but it's not a requirement.)

It's not a particularly telling picture, but. This was taken right after my friend got killed over in Chechnya, and I'm strung out on heroin. Telling a story about him to somebody - I don't remember who - I think it was some john. Suddenly he interrupted me, and told me that I looked so beautiful lying there, and he snapped a few of these shots. It's probably just because of the context, but out of all the pictures that have ever been taken of me I think this one captures me the best.
