Okay. So. I'm jumping the gun just a little bit, but I can no longer contain all of the awesome that is... SQUIRREL. GIRL.
Yeah, yeah, a bit early. But I'm sick and sucking at in-character stuff right now and Squirrel Girl can make everyone feel better!! Right? Riiiight? <3 (And it's been a whole day since the last character intro post! XD)
That's right. Doreen Green, coming soon to a mansion near you! <3 Doreen will be swinging intotheaters Xavier's School June 3rd or so, but starting this Friday, she'll be staking out the mansion from the forest, so your character can notice an explosion in the squirrel population, much braver squirrels, and a strange figure in the trees outside staring in your window at night.
Doreen is a tightly packed little bundle of energy. She's always on the go, always hyper, always happy, and will insist on trying to make everyone else happy. It's silly to be sad! For those who don't know, Doreen's power is the ability to talk to squirrels and her own squirrel like abilities (agility, knuckle spikes (you've never seen a squirrel with those?? ... me neither), long nails, great jumping skills, a huge bushy tail, and buck teeth that can gnaw through wood, and an extreme hankering for nuts). She's full of pluck and manages to get through a lot of situations she just shouldn't be able to. She won't take no for an answer, ever, in any situation. She's never seen without Monkey Joe and Tippy Toe, her most trusted squirrel friends who give her advice - usually very conflicting advice.
She's pretty extreme. And doesn't know how to turn it down. But she's got a good heart, and truly just wants to be friends with everyone. She dislikes bullies and stuck-up people, but will still try to befriend them, too. She loves nuts (and be careful around her when she's got pistachios, they make her very flirty) and can be bribed into anything with them. She also loves collecting things. And she loves loves loves old school comics. Gold Age FTW. She loves love, too, and will start out crushing on Kurt pretty hardcore, but once she takes the hint, who knows, she might develop a few more crushes. It's scary to be crushed on by her. She's a little stalkerish sometimes.
