Who: Tandy & OTA When: Backdate to Saturday, 8:00pm Where: Theater/Stage area (?) Warnings: Will update with any.
It was around 8:30PM when Tandy had entered the theater-like area where school plays and the like were held, when they were, if they were, Tandy didn't know what this area was used for, but when she'd found it by accidentally thinking it was a classroom, she knew she'd found the perfect spot to practice. She could have practiced in the gym, but the gym was for training (from what she could tell), this place seemed unused more than used, and therefore perfect. She'd moved swiftly down the slanted isle, passed movie theater like chairs that seemed too new or unused for her liking, and up the left had stage stairs before finding her way into the back stage area. She had brought along a bag with her, tossed over her shoulder and light as a feather, only holding her ballet uniform and ipod.
Tandy hid herself and changed, just in case someone had been around, she made sure there was no way anyone would have been able to see her change into the thick nude leggings, white leotard, and then slip into the white see through tutu skirt. Though she skirt touched to her knee, with any specific move it would lift up to or past her hip. She stretched as she moved until she was in an area where she could lace up the thick ribbon ballet slippers she'd worn for the last two years. She clipped her ipod to the skirt before tucking the buds into her ears and debating what she wanted to do. She stretched for nearly five minutes before finally picking the song she wanted to hear. Though Christmas was over, for Tandy, every day could be Christmas and soon her ears were filled with the sounds of the Nutcracker, the specific part where the Sugar Plum Fairy does her solo dance--Tandy's favorite part.
She waited for the musical cue before she exited the back stage from the right, sixteen toe steps out (on the tips of her toes) she went into a graceful bend, arching her back and bringing her arms up as her left leg lifted up past her hip without forcing her to lean forward, and she smiled. Though parts of the dance would look down right silly to others, since they couldn't hear the music as she moved, the longer Tandy danced the more ethereal she seemed, graceful and elegant as she moved into each pose, toe tap or leap. Her ability perked in as that extra build of living life force seemed to radiate around her, though it looked more like that natural glow any woman can have at the climax of happiness. She didn't have a harsh glow about her, but it was something that would make someone do a second look, she was glowing.
The dance ended just before two minutes later, after nearly fourteen spins across the stage she ended where she had begun, though she ended in a sort of bow on the tips of her toes. She held the pose for only a moment longer than necessary before allowing herself to go back into a normal state, her hands automatically moving through her long blonde hair (though it seemed to be more white than golden at the moment). She smiled brightly to herself as she closed her eyes and lifted her head and take a deep breath. Dancing was better than training for Tandy, it was everything to her, and it meant freedom. She quickly pulled the buds from her ears and let them hang at her hip as she sighed out, that had been more fun than she'd expected.
