Vanessa smiled faintly, glad for the praise. "We all look great!" She reached around to touch a wing gingerly. It was no thicker than wax paper, but holding up nicely.
She gave a little start when Tyrone showed up. She took a step back, giving him space. "Hey, Tyrone," she said softly. She hadn't followed him lately, since she'd been spending so much time on things besides her assignment. In fact, the last she could remember having any sort of interaction with the man was on AIM, despite their classes together. She still kept entirely to herself among her own class, associating more with the college students (Theresa on good terms, bad terms with most of the others) and younger students. And Tyrone on AIM was a little scary. She mustered a small smile, but went back to background-mode.
