Who: Bobby and Lorna When: Wednesday, 3 pm Where: Flagpole (Bobby's office) What: It's not that he wants to put a ho before his bro. He just needs a ho to help look out for this bro. Er.
Bobby Drake left class early and did whatever it took to always be the first person at the flagpole whenever he had a three o'clock meeting to make. It wasn't so much about the reputation, but about making sure the grounds were set that this was his turf. Clearly the best way to do so was to be the first to show up. So Bobby Drake waited, one of the rare times he was actually early to anything. Sitting on the ground with his legs crossed, Bobby played his DS to kill the time. Yes, the girly handheld console. Everyone shut up.
He hadn't really planned what he would say to Lorna, but he knew he needed to do something on Alex's behalf. At first it was just to apologize for his rude behavior in the cafeteria weeks ago. But now, the more he thought about it, it became something more. For whatever reason, Lorna seemed to have the resolve to have a crush on Alex. Alex, likely somewhat aware, was still not doing anything about it. And that worried Bobby. It shouldn't, but this bro that he loved hadn't really done anything since Bobby had met him. No school, no job, no patching up with the older brother, no girl. In a fit of role reversal, the youngest bro was worried about the oldest bro. Something had to change for him and maybe Lorna could help where Josh and Bobby failed, not that they tried that hard or that often.
