Who: Kitty Pryde and Dominic Petros When: Friday Afternoon - 3:00ish Where: The Atrium What: Call it coincidence, but it seems they're both fated to always meet in the Atrium of the school. Rating: TBD Status: WIP
It had been nearly two weeks since the mishap on Valentine's Day weekend. It had, also, been two weeks since Kitty Pryde had experienced her first real kiss with a boy. She was sure that, in usual circumstances, one would be a bundle of giddy excitement. Unfortunately it wasn't like that for her. She certainly wasn't disgusted by it, but she continually felt an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach when she thought back on it. She had talked with Josh about it, and had even attempted to go to Dominic's room to talk to him. That had failed miserably, and she had been playing the avoiding game since then.
She wanted to talk to him, try and smooth things over. She wanted to tell him the truth, tell him that she hadn't minded that kiss. Tell him that she, in all honesty, enjoyed it. This wasn't an easy thing for Kitty. She was computers and technical genius. She was far from any sort of social goddess like Regan, or some of the other girls tended to be. Besides, she had always considered herself fated to live in a house full of cats.
The atrium, though the fateful place of the event, was still Kitty's favorite hide away spot. She had, once more, settled under the large window on the floor. Instead of the ridiculous notebook she had discarded after she had regained a sense of sanity, Kitty had a large, thick book resting in her lap. Reading was the perfect way to clear her mind and not dwell on things that she needed to address...eventually.
