Who: Kitty Pryde and Dominic Petros
When: Friday; Late Afternoon - 3:30 PM
Where: The Atrium
What: Kitty's been feeling a bit odd and isn't quite sure what's wrong. For the time being, she's nestled herself in the Atrium to do some reading for classes.
Kitty had been feeling quite odd since the evening before. She couldn't quite place if it was due to the training exercise, or if she was coming down with something. But she could tell that something, in her own psych, just wasn't right. She was seeing things - people - differently than she had ever seen them before. Not that she hadn't always looked at what people had to offer as a whole, but this was much different.
It had started as classes began. Passing a few of her male student counterparts, Kitty had felt an unfamiliar tug in her stomach. She found herself stopping, giving them a second glance, and quickly rushing to her seat, or around a corner. She had noticed boys before. She wasn't a robot regardless of what Alex thought, but she had never felt the need to take interest in them. Until now.
Through each class, while in the midst of taking her notes, Kitty had begun a list. The list consisted of a boy's name and a feature that Kitty had taken a key notice of: Bobby Drake had really nice eyes, Kurt's skin color was her favorite shade of blue, Josh was terribly cute, and Alex had an infectious smile. Those were just a few to name and the list was just continuing to grow. It simply wasn't sitting well with Kitty. Especially when she had completely missed the entire lecture of her last class. Her mind was fully focused on checking and re-checking her list, adding extra notes and ridiculous heart doodles.
She had made a beeline out of the classrooms, down the hallways and settled herself into the Atrium. It was fairly quiet and empty for the time being giving her the perfect spot to gather her wandering thoughts. She began rummaging through her shoulder bag, pulling out one of her text books. If she could simply began reading and force her mind to focus else where, maybe things would be fine. Maybe.
