Who: Alex, Bobby, and Josh
When: Saturday night
Where: The Bro Harem
What: Discussing the Kiss of the Century.

Bobby Drake never did like staying in his room, especially with it being the weekend. However, he couldn't roam about the school as freely as he had before. For one thing, it was still freezing outside so he wasn't quite up for loitering on the grounds or running over to the main building. For a second thing, he was still avoiding Remy and to an extent Rogue. So to quickly stay hidden whilst escaping the dungeon known as Bobby & Dominic's room, Bobby came a-knocking on the door of Alexander and Joshua. He may have possibly been glancing about until they answered, as if Remy would spring to life from the shadows again.

Alex practically sprinted for the door when he heard the knock. Not that he minded gaming with Josh, but Josh had that thing called school which was really putting a damper on their bro time. Whatever, company was always welcome in the Foley-Summers lair. Even robots named Kitty.

Throwing open the door, Alex's smile faded into a skeptical glare. He folded his arms over his chest. "Robert. Always a pleasure." Alex said curtly, but he didn't move from the doorway. Actually, he was blocking Bobby entrance to the room. Alex needed a few questions answered first. Perhaps they should have implemented some sort of secret password. One that Alex wouldn't have to remember. He got free reign in his room.

"You can only come in if!" He rose a finger in the air, in a matter of factly way, "You withhold nothing from me and Josh." Alex needed to know about three things: Bobby's face, and if he was gay because -- hello! girls kissing! Okay, so only two things. But two very important things.

"'Xander the 'Pander," Bobby replied with his usual nonsense. He sized up the other guy when he noticed how uninviting the room looked with Alex in the way. Bobby crossed his arms expectantly.

Bobby's head recoiled back when Alex rose a quick finger. He listened to the other dude and then eyerolled when he was finished. So this was the game he would have to play. Bobby gave a dramatic sigh. "Great. You're menstruating again. I hate when you're menstruating. ...fine." The expectant look returned. Could he come in now?

"Wait, who's menstruating now?" Josh asked, looking up from his notes with a perplexed expression. He was sitting cross-legged on his bed across the room, studying. Oh it was Bobby. That explained the random conversation taking place at the doorway.

"Hey Bobby," he said, glancing around Alex's frame to give an obligatory 'bro nod' to the other boy. "Alex, just let him in," he said, playing mediator as per usual. He turned his attention back down to his notebook, chewing on his pen idly.

"No, Josh. No." Alex swiftly turned to Josh, holding up a hand at his sudden eagerness to allow Bobby in. Menstruating or not, the comment was left ignored, since Bobby was the one totally unenthusiastic about girls kissing. It was heart breaking. He turned back to Bobby with a deadpanned face, though it was hard to take his comments seriously.

"Me and your mother," Alex was referring to Josh, being able to be head of 'family' naturally since he was the oldest, " ..are very upset in lack of interest in very important, pivotal matters and your lies." Alex gave a pointed look to Bobby's nose. Even if it was healing over, Alex had seen him prior to today when it looked much worse. "We can ground you from the X-Box unless you are honest with us. I would hate to stage an intervention.."

Bobby's eyebrows narrowed, glaring up at Alex. Who wasn't really that much taller than Bobby, but taller nonetheless. He would do his best to hold his ground here. Being defeated by Remy was one thing (yes, defeated), but Alex? No way!

"My lies?!" Bobby looked at Alex like he had kicked his cat. "Boy, go into your room so I don't have to beat you in public." This was also a matter of insistence from Bobby because he didn't quite want to tell the truth about his nose with the door open. He shouldered his way past Alex into the bedroom. "There's an X-Box in the rec room now. I don't need your favors, yo." His voice was a mix of jovial with some seriousness. "Shut the door." Bobby commanded, preparing himself for the storytelling.

"Mother!? Why am I the mom?" Josh demanded, his gaze torn away from his homework once more as Bobby came bounding into the room. "Damn dude," he remarked when he saw Bobby's face for the first time since he'd gotten his nose broken. "I'll fix that for you when we get our powers back," he said casually, gathering up his notes and setting them on his nightstand.

"What happened?" he asked. The two had his full attention now.

"Because I said so!" Alex answered, shushing Josh quickly. If Bobby was going to talk he didn't need Josh's motherly shrieking to get in the way. Lack of powers made everyone weird -- maybe this was a side effect. Alex let Bobby in, even if Bobby had pretty much forced himself in. And Alex would argue that he also closed the door on his own accord, not because Bobby had told him too.

Walking past him to the bed, Alex sat down. Pulling his legs in Indian style, Alex situated himself so that he was ready for this story. Damn, he wished he had popcorn. "This had better be so epic that frickin' angels come down and sing a hallelujah chorus behind you."

"If we get our powers back," Bobby added skeptically. "Seriously, if it was as simple as someone waving a hand or flipping a switch it would have happened days ago when Xavier brought it up." He ran a hand through his shaggy brown hair. "Whatever, I'm over it." Except he wasn't. Far from it.

Bobby hesitated about telling his story. Remy had been his friend, and though he was mad at him - Bobby really was largely covering for him. To Bobby's surprise, the guy wasn't rubbing it in or really making a fuss at all in the halls or the journals. Now Bobby was feeling bad he had even opened story hour up, before the first story had even begun. But did he owe Remy this much protection? The dude could have killed him.

Drake took a breath. Sorry, Remy. "Remy attacked me." Bobby's arms were crossed and his eyes staring past the boys at a wall, like a child having to admit he stole a cookie to his parents.

Josh waited patiently for Bobby to fill them in. He too was worried about the possibility of the powers not coming back, but he didn't want to think about that right now.

"Remy attacked you?" He said, his mouth hanging open a bit at the news. Remy was their friend, Bobby must have really pissed him off. "What'd you do to him?"

"Whoooa, ditto." Alex was backing up Josh's comment about what Bobby did to him. But he knew Remy wasn't completely without fault. It was just unexpected. Wasn't there some unwritten rule not to punch your fellow guy friends or something? Granted Alex totally broke that rule but on accident. Accidents were allowed or something. Not cool, but allowed.

Alex looked at Josh, trying to give him a 'holycrapwtf' stare, but if he waited too long to catch Josh's attention, Bobby might make a joke about them being hot for each other and then story time would be totally lost. Alex was curious. It was like soap operas for guys. Not that Alex ever watched one or knew what a soap opera was..

"Did you punch him back?" Granted Alex had seen Remy once before this, but it was for him to steal alcohol and they didn't talk much outside of swapping booze. Perhaps Bobby had really laid into him that wasn't on his face? Then Alex would give him a proper congratulatory pat on the back and commend his manlihood, or something.

Bobby's head and eyes dribbled about the wall as he revised what he had just said in his head. "Okay, okay. So he didn't really attack. He just. Dudes, he freaked out on me and then he hit me. Almost blew my face off, too." Bobby had just now recalled that, loving having to brush ash off his face.

When Alex asked if he punched him back, Bobby hesitated. "...no." Remy was his friend. Bobby had no idea what to do at the time. "But, you know, my nose was broken and I was bleeding everywhere. I wasn't exactly feeling great and up for a death match." Bobby had also tried to use his powers, which didn't exist, and triggered Robert's flight option.

Josh didn't deny that Remy was one crazy ragin' Cajun sometimes. But he also knew that he wouldn't attack a friend unprovoked. Or at least, Josh didn't think he would. Not to mention, he also knew Bobby had a certain flair for exaggeration.

"Holy shit. What did he freak out about though?" he asked, leaning back. What was it with his friends and their inability to tell the full story the first time around *cough Alex cough*.

Okay so Alex was listening intently, but something just didn't seem right. Bobby seemed to be conveniently leaving parts out. And he was just about to ask the same question Josh was when, well.. Josh asked! Alex shot his dorm mate a look before mimicking the same pose, leaning back, looking infinitely better and more interested in the retelling of Bobby and his broken nose.

"Yeah, holy shit. What did he freak out about?" Yes, it sounded much better when Alex asked the question. Silly mom-Josh.

Bobby paused once again, staring straight up at the ceiling. "Iiiii...." Wait for it. Bobby finally looked over at the two of them, a look of defeat on his face admist shrugging. "I made out with Rogue, okay? Like ... I did. I like Rogue. And he saw us making out and flipped on me like I slept with his wife." There goes Bobby with his hype ups again.

Josh's jaw dropped. "You. Made out with Rogue?" he repeated incredulously. Picturing anyone making out with Rogue was a little weird since everyone knew she was untouchable and all. Well until this week at least. But Bobby?

"Well way to go, dude" he said, reaching over to pat Bobby on the back. It wasn't like Josh or Alex were getting to make out with anyone recently. Although Josh most definitely had a better chance than Alex of course.

"But if Remy was dating her, then I don't really blame him for freaking out. I mean, he shouldn't have wrecked your face or anything but...Damn dude," Josh continued.

"OH MY GOD!" Alex so impressed. Like, forget the nose thing and being sketchy for the past few days -- this totally made up for it. Alex had to hold back his inner girlish squee. Apparently, Alex lived vicariously through his friend's love lives, even if they were all messed up and full of angst. Alex waved a dismissive hand at Josh to get him to shut up. He was ruining the moment by sympathizing with Remy.

"You sir. Are the man. Just.." Alex got up and brushed off his seat on the bed, presenting it to Bobby. "Here. Sit. Do you need anything? Because seriously.." Alex took in a breath, holding a head over his heart. "You made out with Rogue which is so fucking ballsy. Everyone knows Remy and Rogue are like this." He held up his hand, twisting his middle and index finger together.

Alex was very good on catching up with his gossip when he had nothing else better to do with himself.

"They're not dating!" Bobby insisted. "I mean, they can't be. She never said anything and it always seems like he's just hounding her. Just because they're like this," Bobby mimicked the finger twist, "doesn't mean no one else can like her, y'know?"

Bobby did help himself to a seat on the bed, if only to not be the center of attention as much - for once. "But it doesn't matter. I'm the fool. I get the busted nose and she pretty much told me after the fact she did like someone else." It wasn't a true confession, but she definitely didn't deny it. "So, whatever. Live and learn." Bobby was rambling now, still unsure how to feel about the whole situation. It definitely didn't feel settled in his mind.

Kitty had been waiting outside of her temporary room when she heard the multiple voices inside. Hearing Josh and Alex was absolutely normal, but was that...Bobby? She didn't want to spy, but she didn't want to simply go walking in if she wasn't suppose to be privvy to this discussion. She was careful when she pressed her ear against the door not to go falling through it. That would certainly have been terrible.

Making a face, scrunching her face up, Bobby had...gotten hurt? In a fight! She had gotten that part. And...with Remy. Over...Rogue? What on earth had that been about? She pulled her face from the door, frowning, before pressing her ear against it once more. She rolled her eyes when they cheered Bobby on for...making out with Rogue? Was Bobby insane?

Then it fell silent and Kitty, for a moment, panicked. Had they heard her? Did she hit the door when she was trying to listen? Oh gosh. She had to play it cool. Adjusting her bag on her shoulder, Kitty opened the door, carefully pushing it back. "Hey guys!" Yeah. Everything was cool. She had heard nothing.

Just as there was a lull in the conversation for a moment, Kitty came into the room. It had been weird having her staying in their dorm all week, but it was actually starting to feel normal by this point. She was sort of like their little sister now. Little robot sister of course. Still however, the bro-conversation stopped immeadiately out of force of habit at the prescence of a girl.

"Sup Robot?" Josh said in way of greeting. At least she'd actually opened the door and announced her entrance this time. For the first couple of days she'd just come phasing in like a ghost through the door, or the wall, or even the floor at one point. Usually scaring the crap out of one or both boys in the process. The back of Josh's head was still sore from the last time she'd done it and he'd jumped and smacked his head on wall behind his bed.

"Did you come to gawk at Bobby's nose too?" he teased.

Alex took Bobby's sudden defense as a moment to back off. Alex had just been so proud that he was running his mouth and not entirely thinking of what he was saying. Yeah, he probably would have felt the same way. Alex shifted uncomfortably before going to take the seat he had offered to Bobby, who obviously wasn't taking it.

Alex his opened his mouth to try and divert the subject to something else when Kitty came in. Whether or not she had phased through the floor, he wasn't used to girls just coming in, especially Kitty. Gosh, he hoped they'd fix the girl's dorms soon. Not that he hated Kitty, but he felt really repressed as a man when she was around. He had been afraid to scratch at certain body parts when she was in the room, even if she wasn't even facing him. Either way, Alex still jumped. "Shit, Kitty! Knock next time would you?" At least he didn't scream.

With a sigh, he turned back to Bobby. Okay, so nose question out of the way, on to important topic number two. "So okay, Remy busted your nose, but how can you just ignore the one thing of genius I managed to capture this week?" He paused, looking to Kitty. "Pryde, cover you sensitive girl ears!" He made the motion of sticking his index fingers in his own ears before asking Bobby.

"Rogue, Regan. Rec Room. Hello?" And then Alex did it -- he made a really obnoxious make out gesture with his hand. Wiggling his tongue and all. So the kissing wasn't that graphic but he needed it for emphasis. This was a huge deal!

Bobby's eyes widened when Kitty walked into the room, especially so casually like. He had either forgotten or never got the memo that Kitty had been bunking in the bro harem. He glanced between Josh and Alex to size up their reactions before offering Kitty a friendly wave. He pointed at his nose in case she hadn't noticed. "Yaaaay. There. Busted nose." Bobby sounded so thrilled.

"...dude." Bobby almost warned, surprised Alex was still going on with sensitive information in front of Kitty. "I don't think Kitty really wants to hear about all that." Bobby wasn't sure what to say about the subject either. Just another reminder that maybe he too got to be with Rogue just because 'he was there' and 'she could', a fear he had no matter what Rogue said. Bobby looked to Kitty apologetic-like for Alex, channeling his 'mother' Joshua. He'd be so proud.

Kitty made a face, scrunching her nose up at the entire subject and air of the conversation. Boys. She did; however, turn her attention to Bobby, frowning a bit. "Ow. Bobby, did you have Dr. McCoy look at that?" She took a few steps over to him, leaning in to look over it herself. She was a tech, though. Not a doctor. But you didn't need to be a doctor to know when something looked bad. She reached a hand up as if she was going to touch the bruised skin, but refrained, dropping her hand to her side. "Really, I don't understand why boys are always throwing fists at each other. And over girls." Perhaps, just maybe, there was a slight hint of jealousy in her voice. Kitty had never had anyone fight over her before! Barbaric as it was, it was still sort of...romantic? Kind of? Okay, not even close.

"Just go on with your conversation. Believe me. I've heard worse, I'm sure." She dropped her stuff in the corner where she had been keeping her small suitcase of clothes and other personal items. She did pause though, turning back to the trio.

"Actually, there are numerous scientific studies that are being worked on suggestion that girls prefer to kiss another girl over a guy. They're not entire sure why, hence the study. But I think it has something to do with the texture of the lips and the amount of salivia in a girl's mouth compared to a guy's mouth." She gave a casual shrug, going back to her things for a moment.

Josh really had no idea where all this 'mother' stuff came from. Granted he was generally the more mature and responsible of the three boys (which wasn't saying too much.) He didn't pay it much mind however. He was long-accustomed to such Alex-induced randomness.

Josh turned to Kitty as she went on her scientific statistical breakdown, eyebrows raised. "Kitty. Only you could make two girls kissing sound so...unattractive," he said at her mention of the saliva level involved in the matter. He glanced between Bobby and Alex with a slightly bewildered expression.
